Įdomu tai, jog jau galima nemokamai parsiųsti ir pirmąjį jų žaidimą "Herod's Lost Tomb". Žaidimukas neturėtų reikalauti ypatingai galingo kompiuterio, kiek žemiau pateikti reikalavimai sistemai. Žaidimas skirtas PC, Mac ir iPhone. Pranešama, jog toliau National Geographic Games (NGG) ketina kurti žaidimus tinkančius ir Nintendo Wii, Sony PlayStation 3 ir delniniams įrenginiams.
Tikimasi, jog NGG kuriami žaidimai savo turiniu, tematika skleis geografines žinias.

According to reuters, National Geographic is getting into the video game business. National Geographic Ventures, has created National Geographic Games responsible for video games.
The division's first game, "Herod's Lost Tomb," was developed in-house and is a free download for PC, Mac and the iPhone. After that, NGG is coming out with games for Nintendo's Wii, Sony's PlayStation 3 and handheld devices.
NGG is expected to focus on building games that further its theme of spreading geographic knowledge.
